The Baby Carer is Jane Fairclough
Jane offers support, care and guidance to parents with newborn babies in the Basel region. She gives English-speaking parents the opportunity to have a qualified, highly experienced post natal carer with them in their own home.
Jane is British and she came to live in Switzerland in 2002. Since 2006 she has been working as a nanny for English-speaking families in the Basel area. Jane has a diploma in childcare and child development and has 25 years experience of caring for babies and young children, including specialist care of newborns. Her experience also includes care of twins and triplets. Of equal importance is that she is a mother herself and has recently become a very proud grandmother.
Having an experienced and knowledgeable person on hand to guide and support you with your newborn baby provides you with the feeling of comfort and security and is invaluable. Some parents are fortunate enough to have family and friends to help them but many parents have relocated to Switzerland and have no support network.
Jane is very passionate about her work and knows that good support can make all the difference in helping to make those precious early weeks with your baby an enjoyable and amazing experience.
